Sports Center in Amstelveen

For this project, we were invited as specialists in laying large-format porcelain tiles, which had already been selected and ordered by the building owner. The scope of work was substantial, and the client was looking for professionals who could complete the job within tight deadlines.

Upon visiting the site, our experts quickly realized that installing such premium tiles on the existing subpar surface was not feasible. Our assessment revealed the need for a major overhaul of several parts of the building, setting the stage for a comprehensive transformation of the sports complex’s public spaces.

As the project progressed, additional tasks were assigned, and what began as a tiling job evolved into a year-long reconstruction of the facility. The sports center was effectively rebuilt, involving more than a dozen subcontractors and specialists from various fields, including engineers, equipment suppliers, and manufacturers of custom-designed structures.

A tremendous effort went into coordinating all participants, and together with the client, we decided to establish a construction and coordination headquarters directly on-site to streamline the process.

In the end, thousands of square meters were renovated, resulting in a stunning sports center that delights visitors with its elegance and charm. Membership in this club has become a source of pride for many residents in the area. All creative ideas were welcomed, thoroughly discussed, and brought to life according to the client’s vision.
